RFQ fields
Start with the end product
Tell the supplier what you are making. A dance leotard, stage costume, performance bodysuit and decorative panel may require different stretch, hand feel and surface behavior.
Include color and sample needs
Send a color reference, photo or approved swatch if possible. State whether you need a physical sample, color card or custom development before bulk order.
Ask for the commercial details
Ask for MOQ, width, weight, stock status, sample timing, bulk lead time, packing and trade terms. If the project has buyer-specific testing needs, mention them in the first RFQ.
Confirm these points before you order
- End product and target application
- Estimated quantity in meters and yards
- Target color, reference photo or artwork
- Sample request, destination country and delivery timeline
Turn this guide into a usable supplier request
Share the garment type, target look, stretch requirement and expected use environment.
Check color, hand feel, surface effect, stretch recovery and sewing behavior before bulk approval.
Include quantity, destination, timeline, custom needs and any testing or documentation requests.
Before you request a quotation
What should a foil fabric RFQ include?
Include application, quantity, color target, sample need, destination, timeline, width, MOQ and any custom or testing requirements.
Why include yards for US buyers?
Yards make internal planning easier for US buying teams, while meters keep communication clear with international suppliers.
